The award is more than deserved — though we can’t help but wish it was called Breakthrough Artist of the Year. It would feel more respectful to the career that led up to this moment. The track fits perfectly alongside the album’s singles, all of which have already charted in the top ten. ‘Baby Steps’ feels like the obvious next candidate to follow in their footsteps.
