After years of releasing music, the time has finally come — the debut album from Elmiene is here. We’ve been following his journey for quite some time now, fully immersed in his music along the way. The British-Sudanese singer truly understands soul and R&B. Listening to his work feels like he has studied the genre deeply, paying respect to the greats while carving out his own space. His sound is soulful, honest, and effortlessly refined.

Following the incredible mixtape Heat The Streets, we’ve been more than ready to dive into his official debut sounds for someone. The album delivers exactly what we hoped for — raw, vulnerable soul at its core. Our standout track is, without a doubt, ‘Honour’. The lyrics carry a sense of romance, layered with a quiet desperation: “Let down your guard. I’m not asking you to lose the shape of your heart. I’m showing you we’re worth not falling apart.”

To promote the album, Elmiene recorded a special live version of the track. Having seen him perform live last year, we already knew this would be something special. This time, he travels to New Orleans to quite literally “heat the streets,” just as he promised on his 2025 released mixtape.
