Fresh from her intimate performances celebrating 10 years of her debut album For All We Know, Nao got right back into the studio to record new music. Singing reimagined versions of the songs from her debut album inspired her to create new music. Seeing the news, we can only hope that the new releases sound anything like the 2016 album. To this day, the album remains one of our favourite records ever released. The production, songwriting and insane vocal delivery were simply out of this world.

The first releases from her upcoming fifth studio album Autumn are ‘Eugene’ and ‘Save The World’. We fell in love with ‘Eugene’. It reminds us of her debut album, but in a more mature, confident and calm way. The song is titled after D’Angelo’s middle name, as the singer has played a huge part in Nao’s musical journey. Of course, we hear his inspiration coming through on the song. It’s a beautiful devotion and ode to the late singer that he would have loved to hear.
